What Would Your Life Be Like If?

It is an accepted truth that the people in our lives determine a great deal about our lives.  I’ve heard mentors say, “show me your friends and I”ll show you your future”.  Leadership trainers teach that those closest to you, determine the level of your success.  So, when you look at your life now, evaluate this principle.  Ask yourself the tough questions.  Who is it that I’m hanging with that’s helping me advance and who are those who are hindering me.  God places people in our lives to accomplish His great plan and purpose.  Our recognition of those people will determine how far, how fast, and how faithful we will be to His calling and purpose for us. Family, has a specific function. Friends have a set place.  Teachers, coaches, mentors have a place.  Those that make us uncomfortable have a place. All are absolutely necessary to arrive at our divine destination. So, what would your life be like if you had different associations?  Could it be that if you changed who you spend your time with, you could change your direction?  Are you stuck in a rut?  Are you parked at complacency? As a christian, are you spiritually listless, and lifeless?  Check out who you’ve been hanging out with and ask that question.  What would my life be like if…

What do you think?

The wrong people means you probably will end up in the wrong place doing the wrong thing

the right people don’t always look like us or have the same color skin or even go to the same places. If they check out with God and He is the one who is putting them in our lives, even though they may disturb our comfort zones, they have to be alright
