We Must Keep Learning
When a person changes citizenship, it requires an extensive education and retraining into the laws that govern life in the new country and government they now reside. Why does it seem as though those coming into the country prosper more rapidly than those who have been in the country all their lives? Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that those who’ve been in the country have taken for granted that just their citizenship entitles them to success without effort or education.
According to Jesus, we are to be ever learning the ways of the kingdom He came to introduce and establish. He was to be our instructor until he secured for us another whom we call the Holy Spirit. The key to your getting ahead is in your learning. What did you learn over the past year? What information did you take in and apply to your behavior? Remember what insanity is. Therefore, if there is no new information input and practiced, there will be no new outcomes or production. Are you continuing to learn? What do you say?

No wonder then that the Apostle Paul continually prayed the
prayer found in Colossians 1:9 that the saints of God would
be filled with knowledge of HIS will in ALL spiritual wisdom
and understanding. One of the benefits to that is “bearing fruit in every good work” as found in Colossians 1:10, the next verse. To bear fruit in every good work would mean making progress in our destiny and surely that would give
us peaceful satisfaction. To live a life that pleases the
Lord in every way would also be deeply satisfying. We are not
here talking about education in the worldly sense. Rather, we
are talking about education from the Heavenly Realm.
