When a person changes citizenship, it requires an extensive education and retraining into the laws that govern life in the new country and government they now reside.  Why does it seem as though those coming into the country prosper more rapidly than those who have been in the country all their lives?  Perhaps the answer lies in the fact that those who’ve been in the country have taken for granted that just their citizenship entitles them to success without effort or education. 

According to Jesus, we are to be ever learning the ways of the kingdom He came to introduce and establish.  He was to be our instructor until he secured for us another whom we call the Holy Spirit.  The key to your getting ahead is in your learning.  What did you learn over the past year?  What information did you take in and apply to your behavior?  Remember what insanity is.  Therefore, if there is no new information input and practiced, there will be no new outcomes or production.                                                         Are you continuing to learn?  What do you say?

Sure you have problems, flaws weaknesses and deficiencies. However according to what I read in the scriptures, God has taken a liking to you.  Perhaps, church folks don’t like you or have passed judgement on you because of how you look, what you’ve done, or not done, or who your family is.  Maybe it’s  your past that has held you up.  You may not be one of the beautiful people in the eyes of the world.  You may have made a mess of your life thus far and your family has disowned you.  However, there is  great news for you.  You’re the person God is most likely to use to accomplish something everyone else says could never be done.  So don’t give up just because people have written you off.  Don’t stop looking for God just because those who say they have found Him don’t welcome you.  You are the recipient of Divine Influence.  That’s right!  YOU!  Check out the Jesus story.  He was not accepted by those who said they knew God.  Imagine going to church only to have folks throw rocks at you or even worse, try to throw you off of a cliff to kill you!   You’re in good company if you’ve not been accepted by so called religious crowd.  God has given you Divine Influence.  You have influence with HIM first.  Then, through your influence with Him, He influences others to help you.  Look for it.  Look for the people whom He has given you influence with.  They’re out there. You just have to look.  Your world is about to be turned right side up because HE has given you DIVINE INFLUENCE !

Jesus came proclaiming a better government that had arrived with his presence.  To participate in it and all of it’s benefits, a complete change of thinking and behavior is required.  In fact, a complete transformation of the person is the only way to get into it.  The government of God (or as the bible puts it, Kingdom of God) is now on the scene.  The invitation to join and come into it is extended all who are tired and weary of natural human governments.  I’ve been recruited as a representative of this government to announce it’s arrival and benefits to all who want a change from the disappointments of worry, fear, insecurity, and bondage of every kind.  Under this government, there is health care for all at no cost to you though someone else paid for it.  There is wealth and abundant provisions for all.  There is significance with no self esteem issues because every one of it’s citizens have a special purpose and place.  There peace of mind because it’s counselor has perfect knowledge for whatever is the cause of your unrest.  Think of it!  You can finally be at rest and thoroughly enjoy life without struggle or hard labor.  You too can be a representative.  The employee benefits are unparalleled.          Consider it and ask me how to get in..

It’s during the tough times that we force ourselves to think creatively and we make what we have produce more than what we would normally think it can.  Our talents surface.  Our skills are sharpened.  We make ourselves get lean and mean  relative to  our real potential.  Usually when times are smooth, we are at ease and lazy and settle into our comfort zones.  We are less likely to push ourselves to have faith and to trust in our God.  David became King after being promoted through his fight with Goliath.  Joseph got promoted only after he was sold by his brothers, was falsely accused and wrongfully imprisoned. Daniel and his three friends were promoted after they were taken into captivity in Babylon.  It may seem like you’re in a tough situation.  It may seem like things are impossible.  Nevertheless, your success is actually closer now than before.  Tough times reveal what’s really in us.  It is faith or fear that prevails.  If it’s faith then well.  If it’s fear then we can now confront it and conquer it.  To live successfully in the Kingdom, faith is a must.                       What sayest thou?

If  it’s only a matter of money, then all that’s necessary for us to be kept away from what God has placed us here to accomplish  is to keep the dollars and cents from us.  That cheapens who we are and our great divine destiny.  I realize that money will be probably a tool to assist you in accomplishing more or perhaps doing your thing on a grander scale.  However, you should never allow the fact that you don’t have the money you want to prevent you from reaching toward what you believe your calling in life is.  If  you’re called to bless people with a singing gift, then you shouldn’t allow the fact that you don’t have the money to produce a  CD to keep you from singing even if it’s on a street corner.  We are put here to be a blessing to others through our gift(s).  So, get busy blessing somebody with whatever God gave you to do that with.  Your destiny awaits you.  Don’t be bought off just because of a lack of dollars and cents.  What do you think?   talk to me!

 I’ve realized through my studies of scripture that thoughts and attitudes can actually be changed.  You change the thoughts and attitudes and most likely you’ll change the behavior.  The most important tool we have to change them is our ability to meditate.  Our meditations actually shape how we think.  What we constantly and consistently give our attention  too, what we constantly confess (the things we repeatedly say), what we consistently listen to and think on  all shape the way we think about most everything and thus our behavior moves in that direction.  In other words, your meditations are shaping your life.  The most powerful meditation tool known to man is of course the bible.  It literally has in it the ability to change who you are and what you do.  Wall street realizes this so they hit us with commercials repeatedly to get us meditating on their goods.  Pretty soon we’re thinking about their goods or services until we finally call or visit the business doing the advertising.  It’s all the way we were designed by God to function.  Your meditations are the reason you are successful or  unsuccessful (Ps. 1:1-3) Start today giving some time to reading, then thinking, then speaking to yourself over and over again a verse of scripture.    Watch what happens!
